New Theory Says North Korea Used Body Double of Kim Jong Un for Public Appearance
As the New York Post reported that this could be a new theory and North Korean administration may have used the body double of their supreme leader Kim Jong Un while ribbon-cutting ceremony. While International Business Times was the one who reported this news event on May 3, 2020. The photos went viral and this does put an end to the speculations of Kim Jong Un’s death. But even after his appearance people are not very convinced and hence this new theory is doing the rounds.
The newly released photos by the North Korean state-run media raised more suspicion than calming down the sea of theories around Kim’s death. Netizens were quick to note the differences in facial, dental, and hairlines between the old Kim photos and the newly released ones.
Youtuber Jennifer Zeng did some research on the photos and pointed out the discrepancies between old and new photos which she shared it on Twitter,
The other speculations that surfaced were regarding Kim Jong Un’s sister Kim Yo Jong to take over the country’s monolithic party system. But there is also a twist in the tail where speculations are that Kim Jong Un’s uncle Kim Pyong II can leapfrog the Kim Yo Jong due to his gender.
In 2017, The Sun released a video where Kim was taking to Kim (his lookalike). The video shows there were a total of three Kim’s (Here we are talking about three Kim Jong Un’s) during the missile launch. It is not the first time when any global leader is said to have body doubles, Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein was the famous one too for using body doubles very often. Theories made rounds about Russian President Vladimir Putin using body doubles, Hillary Clinton was alleged to have used a body double during presidential campaigning. The internet also had theories around body double of first lady Melania Trump.
Many of us do believe that there are seven people like us in the world but isn’t it strange to find almost all of them within the same country (barring the twins).

April 23: The private train of North Korean leader was spotted by satellite images near his holiday resort.
May 1: North Korean state-run news media released pictures of Kim Jong Un in fertilizer factory in Sunchon
